As Seen In

You know exactly what's on your calendar this month.

But do you know if it's actually taking you where you want to go?

Your days are full. You're getting things done, fulfilling responsibilities and constantly moving from one thing to the next.

Yet somewhere underneath all that activity, you may have started wondering...

Is the life I'm building actually the life I want?

Maybe you don't know the answer yet.

That's exactly where you can begin.

I created this exercise because I've had to ask myself the same question. I once left a career I loved, not because it was wrong, but because I realised that loving what I was doing and wanting to keep building my life around it were two different questions.

My work teaching Design Thinking and delivering Positive Psychology talks to corporate organisations has shaped the way I approach life decisions...
understand yourself, explore what is possible before deciding, and design your life with greater intention.

Not sure what you want your next chapter to look like?

You don't need the answer yet. Start by exploring what's possible.

Explore Your Possible Future Paths

A free guided exercise to help you step outside your current trajectory, imagine different versions of your future and discover the themes that keep appearing across them.

You don't need to know what you want before you begin.

Before You Make Your Next Big Decision, Explore First

When we're deciding whether to stay or leave, pursue one path or another, or make a change, it's easy to assume there must be one "right" answer.

So we ask other people, collect advice. We look at what seems sensible, practical or expected.

And sometimes, without realising it, we end up choosing from the options already in front of us rather than asking...

What else could my life look like?

Before committing to another path, there is another step worth taking.

Explore what's possible.

Because you can't make an intentional choice between possibilities you've never allowed yourself to imagine.

What If There Isn't Just One Possible Future?

In Explore Your Possible Future Paths, you'll step outside the assumption that your current trajectory is the only one available to you.

 Perhaps it's...

More freedom.

More creativity.

More meaningful work.

A different kind of contribution.

More time with the people who matter.

More room to grow.

 Your life, your pace.

Those recurring themes are clues.

They can begin showing you what you may want more of in the life you're about to design.

By the end of the exercise, you may begin to see:

  • What you keep wanting more of, even when the future you're imagining changes.
  • What parts of your current life you want to carry forward.
  • What you've been assuming has to stay the same, but perhaps doesn't.
  • The conditions that seem to make a future feel more like yours.
  • Possibilities you may never have considered while focused on the path already in front of you.

You may not finish the exercise knowing exactly what your future should look like.

But you may understand much more clearly what you want it to contain.

What keeps appearing across the futures you imagine may tell you something important about the life you want.

Explore the possibilities and start looking for the clues.

Your Next Chapter Doesn't Have to Begin With an Answer.

It can begin with a possibility.

Give yourself the space to reimagine your future before deciding what comes next.
